Maud Designs is the namesake of Violet Maud Teasley who founded the company
after working 14 years with Australian born, L.A. based designer Michael
Morrison, for MX Inc. Clients of MX Inc. included Madonna, Michael, Janet, and Latoya
Jackson, Gianni Versace, LLCool J, Elton John, Cameron Diaz, Daryl Hannah, Billy
Idol, Joan Jett, Liza Minelli, Selena, Jody Watley, and Herbie Hancock. After
Michael left MX Inc. to pursue other talents, Violet opened her own business
with her daughter in 1998.
